Welcome to Homeland Histories!

Our philosophy is to work towards strengthening the link between you and your past.  Our bespoke service provides you with a personal view of your ancestor's home town.

You tell us which town in England, Scotland, Wales or Ireland that your ancestor came from and we go there.  We take all the photographs you would have taken if you had visited there yourself and combine the photographs with a compact history of that town.  Then we provide you with an album (or a book, if you prefer) containing all the photos and as much descriptive history as we can pack in.  Each town has so much history!  Wherever possible, we try to locate the graves of your ancestors and include some photos of the churchyard and the gravestones.  Added to all this, we also try to include the best book we can find on local history, a few keepsakes and a copy of the local newspaper so you can see what concerns the residents today.
